“The reason for doing inner work is not only to resolve conflict and psychological distress, but also to find within ourselves a deep source of renewal, strength and wisdom.”
― Dr. Robert A. Johnson (PHD)
Mike McHugh is an LCSW who has over 25 years of experience in the field. He specializes in working with adults, couples, groups and families. The main treatment approach is attachment theory, CBT, neuropsychology and the 12 step recovery model. The relationship the therapist establishes with the client must be based on trust. Thus it is sacred honor to be a therapist and be in helper role. Each client is approached as a unique individual. I see my work as attempt to collaborate with the client in the service of mutually agreed upon goals. Mike has experience working with adults and family’s struggling with mental illness, addiction, depression, anxiety, anger and other relationship issues.
