Each of the clinicians at Parkway Psychotherapy and Wellness has unique strengths and clinical specialty areas. All of the therapists maintain their own individual private practice. Therefore, your client information is confidential with the clinician you select.
In 2022, the No Surprises Act took effect. This law protects people covered under group and individual health plans from receiving surprising bills/payment due. Since our therapists maintain their own practices, they set their fees. But you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” for all uninsured/self pay clients. This Good Faith Estimate will detail the rate established by the provider for an uninsured (or self pay) patient and the amount or estimate of the bill for continued medical products or services.
You have the right:
- To be orally provided information about costs when a meeting/service is scheduled
- To receive a clear and understandable copy of your Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
- To dispute a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call your therapist you are scheduled to see.
Our providers also welcome your inquiry telephone call to discuss their expertise, education, training, therapy approach, and availability.
